How to get free legal advice
ECLC is continuing to help people with a range of legal matters by phone and other online tools. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, it is unable to meet face to face.
If English is not your first language, then ECLC can arrange free interpreter services for you. An interpreter can help you make an appointment and they will interpret what is said during your appointment with a lawyer.
When requesting an interpreter, please let ECLC know your preferred language so staff can call you with the interpreter on the line.
Call 1300 32 52 00 (1300 ECLC 00) or email ECLC to make an appointment.
People who live, work or study in the local government areas of Boroondara, Whitehorse Manningham, Knox, Maroondah, and the Yarra Ranges can seek free legal advice from ECLC.
Please note: until further notice, ECLC’s offices in Box Hill, Boronia, Healesville, and its outreach locations are closed.
